The total planting acreage is 224 thousand hectares, whereof:

• Soft wheat – 197 thousand hectares;
• Barley – 12 thousand hectares;
• Oat – 7,1 thousand hectares;
• Other leguminous crops – 7,9 thousand hectares.

The soil in this district is light-brown carbonated.

Naurzum district

The total planting acreage is 241, 2 thousand hectares, whereof:

• Soft wheat – 231,5 thousand hectares;
• Barley – 6,8 thousand hectares;
• Oat – 0,5 thousand hectares;
• Other leguminous crops – 2,4 thousand hectares.

The soil in this region consists of dark chestnut carbonated and light-brown residual-carbonated chernozems.

It is a steppe and forest-steppe zone.

Core business (of enterprise): reception, drying, processing, storage and distribution of grain.

The cereal receiving station was built and put into operation in 1959.

The territory area is 14,29 hectares.

The elevator complex consists of:

• eight fully mechanized floor grain storages;
• auto-receiving devices;
• receiving gate mechanism at the railway;
• road and railroad weight;
• grain dryer.

The grain delivery is made by road and railroad transport.

There is own railroad sidetrack for the grain delivery with a help of railroad transport. The freight cars turnover per day is equal to 30 cars.

The total simultaneous capacity of silo towers and warehouses is equal to 28,000 tons.

The turnover of the elevator for one crop year is more than 50,000 tons.
