Zerendin district 

The total planting acreage is 208,986 thousand hectares, whereof:

• Other leguminous crops – 39,934 thousand hectares.

The soil in this region consists of common chernozems and solonetzic common chernozems.

It is a forest-steppe zone.

Sandyktau district 

The total planting acreage is 323,9 thousand hectares, whereof:

• Soft and Durum wheat – 278,475 thousand hectares;
• Barley – 33,734 thousand hectares;
• Oat – 2,2 thousand hectares;
• Other leguminous crops – 9,491 thousand hectares.

The soil in this region consists of common chernozems and solonetzic common chernozems.

There is a steppe and forest-steppe zone.

Burabay district 

The total planting acreage is 153,434 thousand hectares, whereof:

• Soft and Durum wheat – 104,931 thousand hectares;
• Barley – 24, 643 thousand hectares;
• Oat – 2,267 thousand hectares;
• Rapeseed – 6,150 thousand hectares;
• Other leguminous crops – 15,443 thousand hectares.

The soil in the region consists of common chernozems.

It is a forest-steppe zone.

The cereal receiving station was put into operation in 1924.

The territory area is 22,5 hectares.

The elevator complex consists of:

• Four grain-storage sections;
• Fifteen operating fully mechanized floor grain storages;
• Elevator tower;
• auto-receiving devices;
• receiving gate mechanism at the railway;
• road and railroad weight;
• grain dryer.

The total simultaneous capacity of silo towers and warehouses is equal to 154,000 tons.

The turnover of the elevator for one crop year is more than 210,000 tons.

There are warehouses at the elevator that were retrofitted for the storage and processing of rapeseeds.

The total capacity of warehouses is 41 000.

In addition, an industrial mill with a capacity of 330 tons per day is located at the elevator. The enterprise has its own brand, Agrimer-Astyk, for the production and sale of flour. There is a warehouse for storage of finished products.

In 2010, a plant for processing of oilseeds with a capacity of 60 tons per day (an annual capacity is 15,000 tons) was put into operation.

The grain delivery is made by road and railroad transport.

The loading of railway wagons is carried out simultaneously from seven points of loading, which allows loading 7 railway wagons simultaneously.  The enterprise owns a locomotive for shunting operations. The freight cars turnover per day is equal to 70 cars.

The enterprise owns the railway lines with a total length of 6,5 km.

The AGRIMER-ASTYK LLP (Kokshetau Elevator) was founded in 1924.

The company carries out the reception and post-harvest processing of grain, which includes drying, processing, storage, preparation of grinding and commodity lots of grain, production of flour as well as shipment with a help of road and railway transport.

As of today, the production structure of the Kokshetau elevator consists of four main and auxiliary workshops.

1. The harvesting site has a grain capacity of 145 thousand tons with 7 completed flow lines:

• in 1963 an elevator with a capacity of 104 thousand tons was put into operation;
• the storage capacity is 34.6 thousand tons;
• silo warehouse has a capacity of 6 thousand tons;
• 5 grain dryers with a capacity of 245 planned tons per hour;
• 13 truck unloaders with a capacity of 1,300 tons per hour, the maximum amount of grain received from the motor vehicles is 17,000 tons per day;
• 7 points of grain shipment to wagons with a total capacity of 490 tons per hour;
• 4 points automatic shipment of grain with a capacity of 260 tons per hour;
• 2 points of railway reception - unloading of grain with a productivity of 260 tons per hour;
• he grain-cleaning equipment is available for grain processing, 3 separators of the brand A1 -BIS 100 and 4 oat separators of the 3AV-10 brand with a total capacity of 340 tons per hour.

2. In 1968, the mill with a 3-grade grain milling, with productivity of 320 tons per day in grain and of 240 tons per day in flour with a yield of 76% was put into operation.

In 2010, a complete reconstruction of the mill complex was carried out by installation of Turkish equipment. The mill has a 3-grade milling with a capacity of 300 tons per day in grain.

3. In 1969, a packaged feed workshop, consisting of 3 buildings and warehouses with a feed capacity of 400 tons per day, was put into operation. A silo-type warehouse has a capacity of 6000 tons, of which 2000 tons are for finished products with mechanized shipping points for railways and vehicles.
4. The finished products warehouse accepts, releases and stores flour and cereals, with a total capacity of 2500 tons of packaged flour and with two mechanized points of flour shipment by means of railway wagons (240 tons per shift) and by motor vehicles (up to 200 tons).

To ensure the accident-free rhythmic work of the main workshops, there are auxiliary units as follows:

• mechanical department;
• office of the chief power engineer;
• repair and construction site;
• road and railroad weight;
• garage;
• Security Department;
• laboratory.

The company is fully equipped with weighing equipment. There are 2 autoweights for 60 tons and 30 tons, as well as 2 train weigh scales for 150 tons.

The laboratory is equipped with facilities for determination of the quality of grain and its derivative products.

There is a dead end siding with a length of 6 km. There are two diesel locomotives of TGM-23 brand for the supply and cleaning of the grain carriers.
